What Our Runners Are Saying

"My teams have been into it more for the fun, and if you do it right, it's like a day and a half party with some running involved."

- Lucy A.

"I'm somewhat of a Ragnar addict - currently training for number 11. If you can do a half marathon, you can do a Ragnar"

- Jonny M.

"I just did SoCal and had a blast, and now I think I'm hooked for life. Only regret is not doing them sooner."

- Raul S.

"I swore all night I'd never agree to this again. After it was all said and done, we immediately started planning next year. Can't wait!"

Can I run without a full team?

Absolutely! We understand that life happens, things come up, and it can be just plain hard to gather a full team for the event. But we still want you to be able to have the most amazing Ragnar experience ever! Please review the following options that your team has to run the event without a full roster.

1. You can keep looking for replacement runners. While we won't be able to add them online in the week prior to the event, we can totally add them onsite when you collect your bib and shirts, etc. It will only take 10 seconds to sign a waiver on an iPad.

2. You may run with fewer runners. Your teammates will divide up the remaining legs/loops in any fashion that is appropriate for your runners. We don't need to know which runner is on course- just send someone to the exchange. Note: This option would move your team into the Wildcard division- meaning your team is running just for fun, and not obligated to follow the standard rotation of runners and legs. As such, your team is also ineligible for the top in each division award.

3. You can skip those extra legs entirely. If you are running a trail event, you will just let the timer tent know your team number and which loop you are skipping. This allows us to know which loop your team is on at all times. If you are running a road event, you will text the Race Command number in the Runner Packet or Ragnar App, letting them know your team number and which leg you are skipping. This allows us to know which leg your team is on at all times. This option will move your team into the Wildcard division.

4. You can do a combination of options 3 and 4. Run the legs/loops that you want and skip the ones that you don't want. This option will move your team into the Wildcard division.

If you have any further questions on this, please reach out to our team at customerservice@runragnar.com!

Can I run the event solo?

Ambitious! Unfortunately, we do not currently permit solo runners at our events. Our team is working diligently to have a solo race offering in the future so stay tuned!

If you are interested in running an event solo, we want to know! Please complete this Form.

Is there an age restriction to run Ragnar?

Anyone who has reached their 12th birthday by race day is able to participate*!

Participants under the age of 18 will be required to have a minor waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian.  Those under 12 years of age are restricted, however Ragnar will consider formal requests for extraordinary circumstances through the Safety Director.  (Contact  safety@runragnar.com

*The only exception is Ragnar Road Bourbon Chase.  All participants need to be 21 years and older to participate.

Where can I find the minor waiver?

Information on the minor waiver can be found on the Trail Guide and Race Bible for events. To complete the minor waiver for your event, Click Here!

What if I can’t make it? Can I transfer my registration?

We understand that there are times where an event is just not going to work! Although we do not offer refunds, we are happy to help you process a transfer to remove your team from your current event and use the credit to register for a future event! Please refer to our Transfer Policy for all the information you need. Then, if you would like to move forward with the process you can reach out to our team at customerservice@runragnar.com.
