WHY CAMP, WHEN YOU CAN GLAMP?

Spend two luxurious nights and two fun-filled days (either Thursday to Saturday or Friday to Sunday depending on the race) in Ragnar’s exclusive glampsite, where the tents are already set up, the coolers are full of ice, and the restrooms are private (and clean). You don’t have to be a diva to know you deserve the best.

Treat Yo' Self

Your team could spend precious hours hunting down tents, canopies, chairs, coolers, and other gear for your next trail race. Or… you could just show up, put your feet up, and ring for our concierge if you run out of ice.

Are there still 2024 Glamp sites available?

Ragnar Trail SoCal 2024 still has sites available which the captain can reserve in Team Center.

How will I know our team spot?

Once you reserve your spot, we will send out an email with instructions on how to find your glamping campsite and other information you’ll need for race weekend.

Can I reserve a glampsite for one night?

You can, however, the price will remain the same for the weekend. The entire glamping campsite is available for rent for the weekend. Glamping is not available for individuals, pairs, etc. Teams only.

What does the concierge do?

The concierge is there to help with questions, issues and support. They are “as needed” and will check in with teams from time to time and help if something breaks, they run out of toilet paper, need more ice, etc.

How to identify Staff members?

All Staff on site will be easily identifiable with an orange vest. Glamping staff will specifically be in the Glamping area underneath the courtyard.

What’s the courtyard?

Courtyard is a common area for all Glampers to congregate, socialize, stretch, charge your phones at charging stations, retrieve ice from coolers, utilize our amenities, fill up water bottles, join fire pits, make s'more's, get French press coffee in the morning, etc.

What kind of amenities does Glamping offer?

Bug spray, sunscreen, earplugs, first aid kit, card games, charging station, etc. can be found in the courtyard.

Can we take the amenities back to our tents?

We encourage you not to. Please use within the courtyard so that in the case anyone else needs to use it they’ll be able to.

Does the charging station have cords for every phone?

We try to be as versatile with our options as possible, unfortunately there's a limited amount of cords and in the case we don't have the specific one you need, feel free to bring your own USB charging cord to the charging station and utilize one of our charging blocks.

What time is coffee Friday/Saturday morning?

Coffee times will be communicated during your check in to Glamping and will be available in the courtyard while supplies last.

How do I choose a Glamping site?

You’ll be able to find a staff member in an orange vest by the courtyard. Once you’ve located a staff member they’ll be able to walk you through the layout and help decide what works best for you based on what’s available. It’s a first come first serve basis and reservation requests aren't allowed beforehand. There is a number on the entrance of the Glamping site that indicates the site number, it is a double sided label with a red number and a black number. If the Glamping site is flipped to the red side that indicates it is taken, if it is a black number, that indicates it is available. Please inform the staff member you're doing a walk through with on which site you'd like to claim.

How can I find my Glamping site if my teammates have already chosen one?

Upon the entrance (zipper wall split open acting as a doorway) of each site you’ll find a number labeling the camp site from 1-40 depending on how many sites are available. If you’re not sure which site your team has chosen, find a staff member in an orange vest to help you out.

How do we receive ice?

Find a staff member with an orange vest, they’ll point out the ice chest in the courtyard.

Can we keep the backpack coolers?

Unfortunately you can’t. Please return the backpack coolers to the courtyard, this is very important so we can ensure the same accommodations per event.

Can I leave my trash behind?

It’s your responsibility to throw out your trash at a nearby dumpster at the venue. Someone will sort through your trash and recycling at the end of the event so we’re 100% efficient with waste management.

What if I reserve a Ragnar Glamping site but I can’t get to the race?

Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer refunds, but if you’d like to sell your site to another team, you’re more than welcome!

What about meals?

Hey, we make great events, but we don’t know the dietary preferences of your teammates be they gluten-free, freegan or meativore. This is a byob (bring your own bacon) sort of arrangement. There are meals available at Ragnar Village as well.
